Addie's First Christmas

Addie's First Christmas consisted of her waking up at 10am and drinking a bottle then opening her presents later!! I have a feeling next year she will be more into Christmas! I am for sure looking forward to all the many Christmas' to come! We are so thankful for all the many blessings we have in our lives. We all loved the presents we received. We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and will have a very happy New Year.

Karson had Addie's name for Christmas this year and Karson made her this blanket and got her these two very cute outfits!

Grandma and Grandpa Wilcken gave her this for Christmas

and these pants and onsies

Mommy and Daddy gave Addie this tummy time and back time play mat!

She has already started using all the many presents. And a special thank you to cousin Karson! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa we miss you and cant wait for you to come back home. We love all our family and hope that everyone had a great Christmas. We hope next year we will all be able to be together as a family!

Christmas Eve

Christmass Eve was spent at Justin's Aunt Penny's House in the Portland area. We had a gift exchange and ate food and home made Christmas treats. We had a lot of fun! The only down side was it took us twice the amount of time as normal to drive there! The dang roads are still bad! It was a very bumpy, scary ride!

The Winter Freeze in Oregon

Ok you know the song "Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow" well I am singing "Let it Stop, Let it Stop, Let it Stop" I enjoyed it for the first 2 days but it has been almost two weeks of bad winter weather and here in Oregon we are not equiped to deal with this weather especially for a long amount of time! I have been stuck in my house the whole time and it is not that I dont want to leave but our vehicle is not capable of getting around in this weather. Lets just say I am for sure going crazy!!!! We still have Christmas shopping to do and the weather is not sopposed to get better until after Christmas! Does anyone have any ideas!!! There is only so much cleaning one person can do!

This is right out our backdoor. That is our picnic table

Allie playing in the snow. She really enoys the snow as you can tell!

Echo does not enjoy the snow as much as Allie

Our car buried in the snow. We have bald tires, no chains and its not a 4x4. We are stuck!

The front of our house with our Christmas lights. At least we can say we will have a white Christmas!!

Santa

Addie went to see Santa last week and She told santa she wanted Baby Einstein, Bumbo and toys to play with!

3 months old

Addie at three months old is a great stage. I am really enjoying all the many smiles I receive! I am a very lucky mommy Addie started sleeping through the night at 7 weeks she sleeps from 11-9. I know I most likely wont get so lucky with the next child but I am enjoying a full nights rest!!

Addie at 1 month

Addie is such a great baby we are so glad she came into our family, she is the best thing that has happened to us. We are not saying it has not been a challenge but it has been a good challenge. It for sure shows us we are stronger than we thought and every sleepless night is worth it in the end especially when she smiles at us.

Addie took her first big trip at the age of 4 weeks we went with Grandma Wilcken to go visit Addie's Great Grandpa and Grandma Harris in Idaho. Lets just say I think we traumatized her. the carseat is not her favorite place to be now.

We also took a trip down to Utah so Addie's Aunts and Cousins could meet her for the first time!

Her other cousins held her also but unfortunately I didnt get any pictures of them

Addison Hillary Moeller

September 23rd 2008! Catelyn was induced in the morning of the 23rd and Addie was born at 5:43 pm 8lbs 0oz and 19 inches long! In the delivery room Justin and Grandma Wilcken welcomed Addie into the world and in the waiting room many more family members were there to celebrate her arrival. The delivery went really well no complications and we have a beautiful little girl in our family!

Bear Lake Vacation

Justin and Catelyn traveled to Utah in August to spend time with Catelyn's Family at a condo in Bear Lake Utah. It was so pretty, it was awesome being able to spend time with the whole family it had been a long time since everyone had been in the same place at the same time! While we were there we went on jet skis for the first time, Catelyn was 8 months pregnant at the time so she didnt get to go crazy on the jet skis like everyone else! Lets just say 18 people in one condo for almost a week there was never a dull moment! We are for sure looking forward to next years get together to make many more memories with the family!!
